Phil Gramm was the biggest money raiser when he ran and he went nowhere. Perot didn't get anywhere. Can't be done. of course is one candidate has 5 times as much as the other it's a major consideration, but that's not the case here.

Dean has raised 25 million, Kerry 20. No big deal. Once there's a nominee for the Dems 100 million pour in very-very quickly. There are at least 100,000 people willing to give $1000 to beat Bush.
