The Saudis supply a lot of our oil. dean's idea to place economic sacntions against them for womens rights issues would mean the Saudis could cut us off and cause another 70's style oil embargo which would kill our economy. Nice idea, Dean. (very amateurish) The way to handle the Saudis is with strong diplomacy and making a major investment to get off oil gradually altogether. It CAN be done. All it takes is willpower and breaking the hold of Big Oil lobbyists. Kerry has pledged to do just that, but gradually not with sudden sanctions.
