That is a fascinating article. It would be interesting to hear what Hans Blix has to say about the present situation.

A couple of thoughts come to mind about the Ritter article.

My only hestitation to take Ritter at his word would be to question what the motivation would be for a government bureau like M-21, (Special Operations Directorate of the Iraqi Intelligence Service) to be investigating and improving primitive devices like IEDs. It seems that they would be engaged with more sophisticated and conventional weapons. I'd love to see independent corroboration of Ritter's assertions about M-21 and IEDs before completely accepting this story at face value.

My other thought would be this. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the American public could be granted full inspection rights to find out what the various "black ops" arms of the U.S. government are creating and perfecting "in our name". I'm sure that decent Americans would be shocked and dismayed to find out about the horrendous and devious weapons of mass destruction that our own secret police are fabricating.
