I am guessing, on after tax basis:
... 60 tame meals at some neighborhood restaurant
... 8 months of ordinary car lease
... 25 weeks of groceries without frills
... 6 months of health insurance
... 100 gas station visits

On before tax terms:
... take 1/3 off all of above

But for old folks living off interest from CDs, USD 2000/mth after tax requires USD 3,600,000 to generate.
