Mr. Wayne O'Connor of Band-Ore Resources reports
LAKE SHORE GOLD AND BAND-ORE INK TIMMINS, ONTARIO GOLD AGREEMENT
Band-Ore Resources has reached an agreement with Lake Shore Gold regarding
54 claim units located in Bristol township, Timmins, Ont. The claims,
termed the Thunder Creek property, are contiguous to the south of the
Holmer gold property, a property that is also under option to Lake Shore
Gold. For a claim map showing the location of the claims which comprise the
Thunder Creek property, refer to the Band-Ore Web site at www.band-ore.com.
Lake Shore can earn a 60-per-cent interest in the property by making cash
payments totalling $370,000 and completing exploration expenditures of
$1,705,000 over five years, and by issuing 100,000 shares of LSG over four
years. The agreement is subject to regulatory approval. Lake Shore Gold is
currently conducting an extensive drilling program on the Holmer gold
property, and exploration programs including drilling are expected to
commence imminently on the Thunder Creek property.
Band-Ore is continuing with a diamond drill program on the company's
100-per-cent-owned Thorne property. The current drill program has primarily
been focused on the recently discovered No. 14 zone, where gold values of
up to 9.59 grams per tonne over 4.5 metres (core length) have been
encountered (hole GW-03-17). Assay results on recently completed holes are
expected within the next few weeks.
WARNING: The company relies upon litigation protection for
"forward-looking" statements.
