Give me a break!! The fact is that it has been the US and UK who have LED the effort to force compliance by Saddam, and not just "white wash" the inspection process (as France and Russia preferred to do).

If anything, it was the French and Russians who had the most to gain by giving Saddam a "pass" and getting back to business. And in fact, if anything, those two nations should be considered guilty of providing aid and comfort to the enemy (based upon UNSC 678) by their constant delaying and blocking of US/UK efforts to force compliance.

But for folks like yourself, you were all content to just "play the game" and let Saddam jerk the UN around.
