A country which is at the mercy of internal conflicts will not have the wherewithal to export its instability. This is one of the key issues. It would take time for the regime to fall. And after it does, the tribal structure of Saudi will make it hard for a new coherent government to come to power right away and be stable. And by the time that happens, we would have devised some kind of counter measure. And even if not, then we could use more drastic measures. But how is invading Iraq adding to the stability of Saudi or anywhere else?
