On counter-terrorism it's not enough to be tough, you have to be very smart about it too. And not get into the whole realm of conflicts of interest and self-aggrandizement. Like mixing up CT with oil profits and domestic politics. That is where the Bush administration has failed us. Because they haven't been ethical about the Iraq War they've let the terrorists pull them down into the mud. After 9-11, the world was 99% behind us. Now they're mostly against us. Two more blasts in Baghdad just reported from the US compound area. More bad news probably.
