Alexion Pharmaceuticals files $150 mln shelf offer Wednesday November 26, 5:29 pm ET WASHINGTON, Nov 26 (Reuters) - Alexion Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NasdaqNM:ALXN - News) filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (News - Websites) on Wednesday to periodically sell up to $150 million in debt, stock and warrants. Net proceeds from the offering will be used for general corporate purposes, the drugmaker said in a shelf registration statement. Such a filing is designed to give advance regulatory approval to sell securities in one or several offerings. Alexion shares closed 22 cents higher Wednesday at $18.62 on the Nasdaq stock market.
