NO ! I were one once...it usually gets you fired...even when you are correct. There is a book by Zack of Zack's... that spends a chapter on why such an analyst has no future as an ANALyst.

Rick Whittington is not an unknown analyst. He is one of
the best in the semi conductor space. He had a strong buy
on Micron in the mid 90's when Micron had the huge run up.
The fact that Whittington and Fred Hickey 2 of the best tech analysts are endorsing AMD definitely counts for a lot.
