My point has never changed. I have been saying from the beginning that the question is basically whether the fetus is a person or a fingernail clipping. And I have never talked about punishment. That's YOUR attempt to demean and distort my position. I have not done the same to you by, for example, keeping calling your position murder. I guess you have your reasons for distorting and demeaning my position, though. But I must say, it's a strange mindset that thinks of bearing a child as punishment. Though, maybe not -- after all, that's the way the story of Adam and Eve has it. Guess you're really a fundamentalist mythologist at heart. Fine. You view a living fetus as no more than a fingenail clipping, to be kept or discarded as it is convenient or desired. You believe that if people are careless, or dumb, or whatever, and bring a living being into existence, they should not accept that they have done that and accept the consequences of their actions, whether good or bad, but should just toss it away as a mistake. Oops, sorry person, we don't want you, bye bye. I jsut find it hard to take that casual an approach to life. And I think you'll find that many women who have had an abortion live to seriously regret it. They know it was a person they aborted.
