I don't know how many hiring managers you know, but most everyone I am involved with thinks the economy next year will be just like this year or worse for the labor market. Gartner is predicting more downward salary pressure for one thing.

On CNBC last night a guest said AG will have to raise rates because the economy is "roaring". That is the definition of stagflation. I actually don't think there will be much on the "flation" side, probably mostly flat or a slight upward bias in fuel (go Bush!) but the stag is almost a lock.

Both Manpower and CGC dispute the strong job creation claims put forth by the white house. Notice the market isn't exactly on fire either, considering the economy is roaring.
