Over 2 million times a year people use guns to fend off an attacker period. Thats attackers in your business, home or on the street. Luckily, usually nobody ends up getting shot. Just the display of force is usually enough. The correct time to start shooting is when your life is in danger. A homosexual just like a Cambodian or Jew should start shooting when you believe your life to be in danger. Do you really believe that Jews being rounded up by the Nazis could have stopped being extricated by force from their homes could have just said, "NO!" to make it stop? Not fighting for whats right simply because you would risk your own life is cowardly.

Criminals, you idiot. What a stupid question, and even stupider assertions ("teenage hopheads with easy access to guns, or an overreachion to road rage") to back up your anti-gun position. You try to make your point by insulting the 2.5 million people that have the gumption to protect themselves and their families from CRIMINALS who would do them harm.
