At the margin, I sold off my small nano-cap positions Alkane Exploration, Millipede International, and my more substantial large-cap blue chip Mitsubishi Estate at AUD 0.2515, AUD 0.4486, and JYen 1009 respectively. I grumpily accept a loss on the Aussie shares, ameliorated by AUD currency gain, and grab without thanks a gain on the Japanese share, augmented further by a currency gain. Hello Pezz, Pre-dinner Report: I was able to get 6 dollops of paper gold at HKD 3,597/tael (yes, a few USD more than when I earlier sold them for) right before 7:00pm just now. I did so in view of the latest development in Iraq that may give the Italians pause for thought about their involvement in pacifying that country. Also, another reason, I do not understand the whys of the sudden gold lease rate increase for nearterm delivery. My orders for 2 additional dollops were not executed because the bank's Internet gold window stops trading at 7:00pm local time. Chugs, Jay
