"Did you ever think that the media adheres to its audience" I try to think of all perspectives. But my point of view is that most of the media is biased to the left because the media is made up of people who lean mostly left (I have heard 90% demos for reporters). Your perspective is interesting, but if the news media is "geared toward the mainstream" as you say then Gore would have won in a landslide. The truth is the liberal media has ignored a giant section of the U.S. population and companies like FOX are giving them an alternative.
