The fact is that we don't now whether the fetus is a person or not.

You can believe one thing, you can believe another, you can come down on one extreme, the other extreme, or inbetween. But you can't know.

So, as I said to Karen, you balance the risks of assuming it isn't a person against the risks of assuming it is.
