"So, if I believe I have a natural right to kill you, I have it?"

Not if you believe that people have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I guess if I was not a person (perhaps a Black Angus), that might hold. But as a person I have a right to life. It seems a difficult concept for you; but I will stick it out as long as you are trying...

"Natural rights are whatever we want them to be?"

That is not what Locke, Jefferson, Lincoln, or Solon thought. "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness" seems to be rather tight and amenable to logic. Hardly a capricious principle!
