Kerry is nowhere near that point. he could win or he could lose. There is no indication of either yet. he can still win New Hampshire and finish strong in Iowa. If he could do that the party would flock behind him and money would pour in.

I told you, if someday Kerry were to not win it and bow out (always possible), I would get behind my second choice. Clark or Gore mostly likely. I am for the best candidate for taking Bush to the woodshed. That means Kerry, Clark, Gore and maybe if there's no other choice Gephardt. That does not mean Dean. None of the others have a chance. The best ticket to beat Bush is Kerry-Clark. But second or third best could beat him too.
