KLP, it is not about Democrats or Republicans either. It is the group of people we have in the White House and their startegy on the war on terrorism. It is not whether we should fight terrorism but how should we fight it. It is not as simple as "...either you are with us or you are against us.." THat approach is true for wars between groups of people fighting to get possession of oil wells, where they had to be physically present to take possession of oil wells.

Osama and his folks are fighting for the minds of his folks through the madrassa. The us likewise should follow and find for the minds of the world community first. The SA is a good example. The Iraqi council is another one. These are the people they hand picked. And now rumors are that they may be let go because of differences of opinion between themselves and also with the US.

What is next. Rumsfeld becoming the fall guy?

Now on the issue of Democrats and the Republicans. How stupid can John Kerry be. He fires his campaign manager (fall guy approach). Then he airs an ad about Bush flying onto the deck of a US naval carrier and says that only he amongst the Democrats has the military background to match Bush's "stupidity". (Targeting Howard Dean I guess)

Now tell me seriously if there is any difference between Bush flying onto the deck of a naval carrier and Dukakis riding in a tank. And then here comes Kerry saying he can match that stupidity of Bush.

Bush's actions reminds me of the UPS/FedEx commercials where a group of mothers of their employees (delivery guys) are sitting around and talking about their sons, and one of them quips that her son was born two weeks early since he believes in being ahead of schedule. I think Barbara Bush could be saying the same of Dubya. This guy always believes in being early. He started the war before it was time, he declared victory before it was time. Maybe he needs to leave office before it is time (4 years and not 8). :-)

So here you have the stupid actions of the Republicans (Dubya) as well as those of Democrats (Dukakis and Kerry).

BTW, what do you think of Soros's plan to in effect, buy the Democrat party? Has a Republican ever had someone who has given $15 million, and then more, to a single candidate?

What can one say? It's his money... But I guess that means he's one of the few wealthy people that MoveOn.org seem to like..

I mean, after all, isn't he one of those international globalists who stand to make a bunch of money from his investments overseas.

soros is whacked out. as soon as the americans become more familiar with his ideas and past actions and fundings, they will see how far to the left he is. i just ran across this article from 1997 about soros on drug legalization, welfare ideas, etc. very enlightening.

no matter how much money soros spends, his past documented fundings and ideas are big red flags. it is so easy for his political opponents and detractors to make hay.
