Funny-mentals.

I try never to find reasons why for this stuff, as you always can if you look hard enough.

At the moment the PM indices - $HUI/$XAU/$GOX, and the metals - $AU, $AG are just not behaving the way the have in the past.

Usually the equity leads on the rallies and lags on the reactions. The one time this did not happen was late last year when we had that explosive move that then fettered out to consolidation.
Basically all the really good textbook "there-she-goes!" rallies have occured this way and when The Metals lead it has usually been euphoric.

We are at a similar point now, I believe.
Yes we could get an explosive rally, but I would just be very careful for a reversal.

But I am just a scarey-cat anyway!
