great post Will, thanks for that analysis.

IMO the smartest MPV move in 8 years was VanDersande just recently getting DeBeers to agree to a study to evaluate the study of the possibility of a feasibility study, brilliant move and piece of PR and it shows in the stock price.........

IMO MPV could most likely be a producing diamond mine of average economics, however, DeBeers, IMO, sees the lower tonnage involved and something about Diamond value that they are not talking about as reason to postpone moving ahead with Kennady Lake..........

I suspect Victor and Snap Lake are their top priorities and will remain so for awhile.

There is not sufficent motivation to move DeBeers off a holding pattern..........

as you say ...Time will tell.

thanks for your post...

regards

Will, good points, but I have been following MPV from 1996 and can't recall ever reading where MPV took a 4500t bulk.As for trying to figure the value of KL,it is not possible when you don't have the knowlege of the mined out value of the ore, only the future becoming history will in the end answer that question. As for, please take no offence, but do you ever make money in the stock market? You seem to put a negitive spin on good news with regards to MPV as if you belive that what Debeers says is comming from the most honest corporation on the planet. As for Debeers controling the KL deposit, well hear are the facts as I know them. There is 6000 kimberlite bodies discovered world wide,of that less than 1% are diamondiferous,of that there only 20 economic mines world wide.At this piont in time the major diamond producers are positioning for the rights to own the Canadian mines. If finding a diamond mine odds are 20 in six thousand, it seems a safe bet that MPV is one of them. When investing it pays to use common scence somtimes rather trying to confuse your self with numbers that have no meaning when you dont have all the facts.
