i feel very sorry for lynch as well and i really don't like thinking about some of the issues she has been associated with (alleged, though her attorney's statement sounds very much like a tacit admission) as far as dropping the ball up the chain of command.....are you referring to the release of the tape of her rescue? according to the army (i found a link with their account of the incident army.mil the m-16 is a high maintenance weapon in a desert environment, did everyone who had problems with jamming keep the weapon in good operational condition or is it wholly unsuited for the environment. i just don't know
