Others, in the Bush Adminstration, strongly implied the effort would be as easy one. Cheney: It will be a matter of weeks, not months. Then, there was all that talk about how this would be a sanitized war with very few civilian casualties. Turkey has been a moslem country in the middle east since the 1920s with a democratic form of government. It has made little difference to the others.
