the haughty, French-looking Massachusetts Democrat,

I caught that line at the time in the Globe, and thought, "Why is his home town paper going after him so hard?" That is really out of line in a news story.

I have been laughing at all the candidates jumping on the Flag burning. Cost them nothing, and makes them look good. It really is silly. Burning the Flag has always been an accepted way of deposing of a worn out one. If someone wants to protest by waving and burning one, it pisses me off, but I consider it "free speech."
