Yep, a little choppy. I use a stand up leaning seat in the front and more than once had to quit cranking and grab the seat. 8 seconds on a bull is for sissies, try an hour in a boat bouncing 4'. I will say when I cranked up the 225 and kept the trim down that 20' foot of nose cut the waves and gave us a pretty smooth ride going in.
