Iraq is one huge 500 billion dollar mistake. We are now LESS safe because of it and it's sucking all our money into it like a black hole. It's getting worse over there, not better and all because the Cheney types refused to consider an international coalition before barreling in like Hitler in 1938, then insisted Halliburton and others control the oil and keep it for themselves along with huge no-bid contracts. On every other issue the Bushies have also made huge sometimes intentional blunders. Their tax cuts to the rich have done us absolutely no good and put the country in hock for decades. At this rate they'll drain the treasury within 5-6 years. Some say that's exactly what they want to do, drain it and privatize the whole thing with themselves owning the corporations and gouging away. Small government except for a huge military and domestic spying operation. The make the middleclass pay off the projected 13 trillion dollar debt. At the same time cutting their services down to the bone, getting rid of public education, letting the religious wacko hypocrites tell us how to live our lives, taking away womens rights, keep us wasting oil for the next 50 years until there's no more left and the planet is a big stink-pot. Their pollution deregulation is really disgusting. Their cutting Americorps, womens health, veterans health, college scholarships, scientific research, so many great programs. Their deploying SDI even though it doesn't work and may never work. Their alienating most of our allies is another huge one. Their sleight-of-hand Faith-Based initiative which most chruches dont even want. Stopping stem cell research which could save people like Ronald Reagan. Opening up public lands to the pigs at the trough. Srving special interests willy-nilly. Outing the CIA agent. Lying and spining incessantly to us. If you don't see all this then you aren't awake.
