Unfortunately, I find I have nothing to add other than my opinion about timing, and I'm often wrong about that. My investing style is more instinctual than rigorous. It's actually hard to explain. Sometimes I use what I call "fuzzy logic" (although I'm also aware there is an actual area of math-physics called that, which is not what I use-I just like the term). "Passing the smell test" is another phrase that runs thru my head, along with some process I call "ruminating", none of which lends itself to credible investment posts.

Even the options, which when I started I did actual mathematical calculations before settling on a particular strike or month, have morphed over into the "it just feels right" place. I'm not even saying I'm particularly good at all this, just that it works well enough for me and that it's the method I use, if it can be called a method.

I don't want to leave the impression that I don't read annual reports and various other sources of hard data, as well as having a general idea of where the TA guys think we're at.
It's more where I go from there.
