Maybe, maybe not! Quite likely, probably not as likely tied to recently revised options that I vaguely recall the company talking about...

Gee, the least they could've done was waited a few days more and realised quite a bit more sale proceeds!

My guess is that with Christmas coming and the long hours associated withthe company turnaround we're now witnessing, a few of the gang want to spring some cash free to live a little!

DRBES, After a double, many people do indeed sell and take their profits. Do you not buy and sell as your motives move you?
Same with these guys.
This is actually a very low level of insider sales.
Compare it with this poor, sad, doomed company.

Obviously insider sells of large magnitude should always be considered.

However, I went back in time and checked out insider sells during the fall 1999 to spring 2000 run up and found insider sales in Aug, mid Nov and end Jan, all the way while the stock was running up to the all time high in spring.

In summary there were about 45K in total sales (remember these are pre-split) in the end July/Aug time frame, about 30k in the Nov timeframe which accelerated to the half million mark in end Jan, Feb, March ... as the stock continued to run up.

Sanders started selling in the end Jan time frame and his sales were not less than 300k shares at a time.

Maybe really worry when Sanders starts to unload.

DRBES, Re: <More insider sales at AMD: >

I found it interesting that on 10/29/2003 Rob Herb sold 50,000 shares and had none left.

Then, on 11/4/2003 Rob sold 100,000 -- Still had none left.

I wonder how many shares he doesn't have left now.
