i do not know, back then i don't believe drugs were that prevalent...

I have a feeling he felt booze, girls and fast cars were "important" issues and whatever "the rest" meant, were of lesser importance...

They said of him that he had become a millionare at an early age, then retired from soccer.... a few years later he was flat broke.

An incredibly talented player, he simply could not manage his personal life... I believe to this day he has drinking problems in spite of a successful liver transplant. Quite a sad story actually.
