Tradelite

I understand your bias, but not to worry.

The white shoes and belt are usually a tip off.

Thanks for the insight.

Haven't you read all the stories about the drug users who visit houses just to rummage through the medicine cabinet, or the stories about agents who have been murdered while showing houses alone to some deranged person who looked and sounded perfectly wonderful and sincere, or the stories about the gypsies who visit homes and while one distracts the owner with conversation, the other one is upstairs stealing the family jewels?

Yes. But I've read far MORE stories of licensed agents holding open houses where this type of thing happens.

And over the years, I have dealt with multitudes of agents who have NEVER screened me as to my qualifications for buying a home. Most of these guys and gals would gladly drive Hannibal Lechter around town for a day if he indicated a desire to buy. You may be speaking for yourself, but please, you are hardly speaking for your industry.
