Part of the reason that Hannity's story on that memo doesn't have legs, is that:

1. It does appear that intelligence was either bad, or abused, faked, misinterpreted or?????

2. The fact that there appears to be motives beyond what was portrayed as a imminent need to take the country to war.

3. The fact that a majority of people in the world and in the United States are questioning the reasons for going to war.

4. Politics and policy go hand in hand. If there was wrong doing, and it appears that there was, or that there was just plain bad leadership, then this is a legitimate reason for trying to oust Bush. And that should be the aim of the democrats. Screw Zell Miller, he a republicrat.

GOPwingers garbage picking again, are they?

As to the memo it was unsent. And an unsent memo is not a disseminated memo--in fact, it's not a memo at all. It represents private thinking, at best a drafted thought. Now have you considered the Bush Adminsitration itself has drafted memos it deemed not worthy of dissemination? Of course, they have. I can't imagine any politician who hasn't ever done such a thing.

Given the above, it'd seem to me that the serious issue here is that the GOPwingers decided to go garbage picking. All politicians draft memos; but not all politicians go garbage picking. Do they?

Now as to why anyone would even think to put such thoughts in writing, in memo form? Well, even you've got to admit that the Bush Administration has been cagey in its explanations for this war, and that they've all but dropped the original reasons for their invasion. What happened to the original reasons that led to the pre-election congressional vote authorizing preemptive invasion? And if the Administration is not forthright in sharing how it arrived at its intelligence and its fatal decision that would involve the killing of thousands of people, the Democrats should adopt some kind of a plan to get the Bush-Cheney regime to come clean.

Here's a couple of questions for ya, PROLIFE. Please do answer: Do you think it's right for a country to invade another country in order to take over its political system? In other words, do you think Preemptive War for Democracy is in accordance with international law? If you answer yes to either of these, then you must have supported what Hitler did, and even Saddam's invasion of Kuwait.
