recognize has different meanings to different people. One can recognize, that is to say acknowledge without even recognizing which is to say understand what was said. I recognized, acknowledged the acknowledgment of intellect. What was said about your post. "there's some real intellect." I doubt chrissykins understood the true meaning of what he just said. "Real stupid response from a real stupid stupe." was acknowledged as "there's some real intellect." In the context of the dialog it was quite humorous.
