FROM THE LETTER TO THE SHAREHOLDERS

The letter was dated 1/13/03

To date we have sold 33 Stand-Up™ MRIs, 23 of them in 2002, four of them to GE Medical Systems, 12 of them installed and prospering.

Fonar Sold their First Stand Up on 10/19/00 and Installed their First Stand Up on 4/30/01 .

So over the next 27 months until the Shareholders letter dated 1/13/03 Fonar sold 33 . Over the next 10 months from 1/13/03 - 11/13/03 Fonar has sold 25 MORE Stand Ups or almost Doubled the previous number .

From 4/30/01 - 1/13/03 or 21 months Fonar installed 12 Stand Ups . In the next 10 months from 1/13/03 - 11/13/03 Fonar has installed 10 more Stand Ups or almost Doubled the previous number

We have also penetrated the hospital market. We have installed a Stand-Up™ MRI at the highly prestigious research and teaching hospital of the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. We also have installations under way at Hospital de Madrid in Madrid, Spain, and at White Plains Hospital in White Plains, New York.

Joe,

Your numbers sound great . Cut 1/2 here and 1/2 there and another 1/2 over there .

But it's easy to say but tough to do .

The centers alone are open 6 days a week and 12 -14 hours . So you need at least 2 shifts .

The production is for production and then crews to install .

Support is for year round service contract and other support .

You have technicians who conduct the tests and someone who reads the MRI that is sent to the patients Dr.

Joe you make it sound like Fonar is making wiggets that sell for a buck and sold to anyone who walks down the street . And once sold we caan forget about the item . It doesn't work that way with items selling for 1.5 mill. that is as HIGH TECH as the Stand Up .
