That would be true, if they didn't investigate. It may be true, yet. However, if there is an actual investigation, with source documents and witnesses under oath, then it will have been a judicial exercise, and not just political. The current problem w. the party in power is an unlimited politicizing of the judiciary and military, along with everything else. So far, the budget expenditures are out of control, the military control of Iraq is failing, we are less safe than ever, and no investigations are being allowed into the true causes of 9/11, which is pointed to as the reason for all of the above.
