If I may,Pine Tree looks fairly valued at the present. Could the net valuation measure used be more reflective of the total net asset valuation of their holdings? Looks to me she trades pretty close to the value of her holdings. How they measure gains and losses eludes me. Should one or more of her holdings explode upwards the valuation matrix would quickly follow. The present cash on hand is small. They would be hard pressed to fund any additional co.s without another stock offering at best.

PNP's value depends totally on the current and potential future value of the companies they hold (mostly tech, biotech and gold stuff on Canadian exchanges). What they call "fair value" could be spot on, too high or too low.

I don't know the companies they invest in, so I would pass. You can compare them to WNDLF where the top holdings are in publicly traded companies that I can understand.

Good luck with PNP - much too speculative for me.
