The problem is, ST, that under Oslo the education of the Palestinians was handed over to Yasser Arafat, who has spent the last 10 years teaching them to hate Jews as thieves with no relation to the land at all, and to glorify holy martyrdom operations=suicide bombings. Most Palestinians, not understanding Hebrew and having no free press or TV, now believe that there were no Jews in Israel in ancient times, there never was a Jewish Temple, the Jews made up the story of the Holocaust as a ploy, the Protocols of the Elders of Zion are fact, and that the Jews are generally despicable. Worse, Oslo and then the intifada cut most day-to-day relations between Israelis and Palestinians, so Palestinians see only soldiers.
