Not very humanitarian are we now? Killing or retaliating against prisoners is a violation of the laws of war Chinu. Hawk, my point is that if we resolutely proceed to fight the war against terrorism, we will definitely win the war. When that hapens, then other countries who have not supported the war with Iraq, will support us. If we signal the terrorists that for every American or law abiding citizen of the world killed we will kill one of theirs at Guantanamo, then things start to work. We should start to speak the language of the terrorists since that is the only language they understand. But instead, we say that the Iraqis are terrorists. That Saddam and his men are terrorists. We say, look we freed the Iraqis from the clutches of terrorism of Saddam. Look we are spreading democracy there. When will Bush and his folks go back to fight the war on terror by going after Mullah Omar, Osama bin Laden and now his son etc. etc. I am tired of American propaganda and their acting on some damn captured Al-Qaeda who makes up these stories. Remember those days when we had those color alert schemes going up and down. Whoever had heard of those alerts in the last 6 months? Did not work. I bet those terrorists still on the loose in the caves of Afghanistan were heartily laughing when they saw the alert elevated to RED then after a few weeks or months being relegated to ORANGE etc. All these colors going up and down and impacting our economy based on a captured terrorist in Guantanamo Bay, smoking hahshish and making up stories for our interrogators. THat is when I say kill 100,000 Americans is balloney. You know what, we should turn this war on terror over to Mossad. Those guys of "90 minutes of Entebbee" and the Iraqi nuclear reactor fame. They will do a much better job to "smoke them out of their foxholes" (to borrow a phrase from our President).
