i think cody willard (if memory serves me correct, he writes for The Street.com) has been recommending MRV for quite some time and has included it in his portfolio for nearly a year...someone with a better memory or the time to chase it down, please correct me if i'm wrong. so, my point is, maybe it's not quite such a "pump and dump" situation? of course, i'm not promoting him and have never seriously considered any of his writings....certainly not recommending anyone buy or sell based on what one reads on thestreet.com.

what pisses me off is that it takes action by the States to get these crooks outa there - the SEC is understaffed and underfunded, and even if that weren't so, they only have civil penalties available to them. Of course they can and do refer to the Justice Dept. in egregious cases but since Milken's conviction many years ago who has had to do serious time? Lay, Ebbers, etc. aren't even close to trading their finery for broad-striped garb. Yes, Ebbers is on trial but only because the Oklahoma AG put him there. Hooray for Spitzer, et al. Spitzer for Pres., I say! He'll throw them all under a jail, as George Wallace used to say. Dee Jay
