The only guy I know who called the gold bottom in advance was Slider On The Black.

Slider can still post here, maybe he will again someday. Slider is Slider and not everyone got along with him. I generally did, and he possesses some uncanny instincts imo. Seems natural for him, and I have to admit I don't have that. OTOH I don't understand why Slider opted out of gold, but each to his own.

He got me interested. I didn't follow Russell, Sinclair, Schaeffer or anyone before then. Still don't follow anyone really. Have thought recently about suscribing to something, but sort of changing my mind. I think I like being a true blue Alaskan if you know what I mean.

I do not know when Russell turned totally bullish on gold but I skimmed some of his archives from May 2001 and found him with a bullish lean but cautious and a little unsure-probably quite appropriate for then

Since I have been following him, he has given me the best advice of anyone bar none.

But whatever works for you-Russell works for me.

Tomorrow he comes out with a position paper on gold FWIW

He does not ST trade but he has been right on the money for the overall markets, for the POG and for the PM stocks

What more do you want?

Personal prediction: if POS hits $7 CDE is more than a double-from here.

THe last several days have been good to me.
