Yep - Greenspan is openly screwing dollar-holders, including treasuries, greenbacks, and money market funds. Doing it right in public, even proclaiming it, and the holders stand idly by watching it happen, even encouraging it.

I've hammered this topic till i was blue in the face...deflation with fiat is a myth and thats what makes it different than the 1930's.

The big piece missing in your picture is wage inflation. Without wage inflation rising prices are deflationary. Although we've argued about inflation/deflation before. -g-
