I am not sure I agree with you that Eurozone has to be more capitalistic for EUR to gain more space in the reserve coffers of the world.

Do you feel it was America's huge growth per annum that made the USD the reserve currency of choice? Not really. If that were the case, there were some ten developing countries I can think of that had much higher growth rates.

USD is the reserve currency because people thought its value would not go down... excessively and/or rapidly, at least. So it seems to me that stability matters more than growth potential, which I guess you mean to point at with the desirability of full-on capitalism.
