The answer is to vote for those that are more likely to appoint judges who are not politicians in robes whether their personal opinions are right or left or moderate doesn't matter. There are plenty of personally leftist, centrist or right wing judges that put their personal opinions aside and rule based on the letter of the law and constitution.
