My only huge bet at the moment is on the insanity of greenspan. ggg
Interest rates not going much higher.
Actually he is totally F*'d and he might even know it.
If he raises the stock market and housing are headed south as will Bush's re-election chances.

Will he retire this summer, let someone else raise rates and attempt to put the blame for the whole mess on them? That is his best bet now, but regardless....
History will NOT be kind to the Greenspan Fed. It will be textbook study for years to come on sheer idiocy.

Agree on energy stocks. Just went long the past few days. Still incredibly cheap in a universe where almost nothing else is IMHO.

But would not be surprised if we get a final shakeout in the energy sector before blastoff.
