Yep, the party of the little tent. Non-conforming views are NOT welcome. Lifelong democrats should change their views to conform to the party "leadership" or get the hell out. It is not Zell Miller that's changed - it's the party leadership. He'd rather try to change it back than abandon it entirely and watch it become irrelevant. Sorry that doesn't suit you. PS: What difference does it make which side of the aisle he sits on? He's not running again anyway, so there is absolutely no need to label him with either a D or an R except that he personally chooses to retain the D label out of loyalty to the party of FDR, Truman and JFK. He has more principles in his little finger than most pols can conceive of.
