Beyond minor detail, i learned nothing new from that CBC piece, everything it brought up i already knew two years ago, from reading this thread, and others on SI .... check back to Oct 2001, it's all there - Bush I being in a meeting with bin Laden's brother on behalf of Carlyle while the WTC attacks were going on, the bin Laden family being permitted to leave two days later, the 1970s Bush-bin Laden connection through Arbusto, etc .... i watched the whole hour pretty much, there was nothing new .... interesting, though - cbc.ca

It was worth the time, for the interviews if nothing else ... CBC has transcripts of them here - cbc.ca

It was nice of Bush to help out the bin Laden family and avoid a situation where they would be asked questions by US investigators into 9/11 -- afterall, good relations with rich friends are more important than the national security of the United States -- what a country.
