Re: The same can be said for the Arabs as well. Without Isra'El to focus on (now Iraq and Afghanistan), the Arabs would be tearing each other apart. The United States has given the Arab world a reason to focus and a new vigor for life.

And here's the view from Beijing:

The same can be said for the Westerners as well. With Isra'El to focus on (on top of Iraq, Kosovo, Chechnya and Afghanistan), both Europeans and Americans are tearing each other apart. The United States has given the Judeo-Christian world a reason to focus and a new vigor for life.

While Judeo-Protestant freaks and Islamic fanatics fight each other, the Chinese powerhouse forges ahead... Instead of facing up to the Chinese/East Asian challenge, Americans have foolishly engaged an obscurant, fanatical war against Islam... Or is it the other way around? That is, precisely because US elites sense their own geopolitical decline (vis-a-vis China/Asia), they resort to Islamophobic warmongering to reassure themselves that the American swan is not singing... yet.(*)
