Ted Kennedy called Janice Rogers Brown a Neanderthal.

That must because she has a low forehead and walks like an ape. Probably swings from trees. Oh yeah, and she's black.

Not even Teddy could be that stupid.

He didn't single out JRB. I heard (and saw) Ted Kennedy call President Bush's nominations Neanderthals on FOX news at noon today.

My jaw dropped.

I keep expecting TK to explode.....literally.

Hannity on the radio heard that Kennedy calling the appointees Neanderthal's...he couldn't believe it either...said Kennedy "couldn't be THAT stupid, could he?"..

Then he found the article (from AP, so don't know which media picked it up).......BUT then, later, Hannity found the audio of TK's remarks.

Yes, it appears as TK was indeed, that stupid.

UNBELIEVEABLE!!! Can you just imagine what would happen if any of the Republicans said such a thing?

We'll see how long it takes the media to put this out here.....

TED KENNEDY, NEANDERTHAL

After today’s U.S. Senate debate on Bush’s judicial nominees Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA) said, "What has not ended is resolution and determination of members of the U.S. Senate to continue to resist any Neanderthal that is nominated by this president of the United States for any court."

So, an Ecuadorian immigrant, Harvard Law educated, is a Neanderthal. A black woman judge, re-elected with 75% of voters in California, is a Neanderthal. Kennedy’s language is that of someone with no fear of reprisal – the press will not interrogate him or his colleagues. What do the presidential candidates think of such language? How about you, Carol Mosley-Braun? How do you feel about your former colleague, Senator Kennedy, calling another ambitious black woman, judge Janice Brown, a Neanderthal? If any of you become president, would you mind if Republicans call your judicial nominees Neanderthals?
