steve, to answer all three posts at once:

a) No I do not have a target. I made my play on the basis of what I thought was going on in the main with McClellan parameters including the summation indexes and the 5%/10% indexes, various Trins, p/c ratios, Swenlin trading oscillators, and Swenlin PMO data (similar to bullish percent parameters). I am going to count this thing down the best I can and watch the TA on USPIX and forementioned parameters. My goal is a play here, nothing more nothing less. If I can make a buck or two and buy myself down so I speak, I will be in seventh heaven. I did not do as much of that as I should and could have during the early stages of the gold bull. I hope my skills are better and that I can now accomplish this. So it is part test as well.

2) Trotsky makes sense although I have not watched the Rydex data that much of recent. I may take a look. If you looked through the free EWI data, I believe they have crude taking a big dump, in the not too distant future. I think it very probably as well. I've been watching VIX, but it is much less a precise timing indicator, as it is a longer term direction indicator. I think the BB bands on the VIX are making preparation for a significant change in VIX direction.

3) Not much else to say really. We take it as we go. I am trying to not get tunnel vision, had that last spring, which didn't harm me much, but .... improvements are always worthwhile to implement.

4) On a personal note feeling more humble this evening. Yes it is nice to hoot and holler once in a while but maybe that is unnecessary so I will in the future try to refrain .... my wife and I were just chatting .... we never believed anything like this would ever happen to us. Not to explain but we have experienced life in many different ways, and tonight I feel I live in a great country and hope that in some small way I can do something in the future to improve the plight of others. I am sure there are going to be needs. If I didn't live in a great country this would never have been possible for me (or any of us), and I am more hopeful for the LT future than otherwise. We do have a rough stretch in front of us.
