I have looked at it this way. Jesus was responding to some Pharisees who claimed he cast out demons by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons. That was the blasphemy. If they believed that, they had cut themselves off from any hope of salvation because they rejected the Holy Spirit that testifies of Jesus. That sin cannot be forgiven because they cut themselves off from all forgiveness when they reject the testimony of Jesus that the Holy Spirit bears witness of. The Holy Spirit is the vehicle. The miracles Jesus was doing through the Holy Spirit were bearing witness that Jesus was from God. It's like a catch-22 effect. Their unbelief cut them off from the forgiveness standing before them. Any thoughts?

The age after the millennial reign is the new heaven and earth. See Revelation 22:5 << perhaps i should have used the verse in mark rather than matthew. unless you believe it is improperly translated as well. >> He certainly isn’t saying it will never be forgiven. << here is the verse in mark: 3:28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation >> Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit will be forgiven after "the age to come", which is the Millenial reign of Jesus Christ << let me know if you still maintain this after reading the same passage in mark. perhaps you are aware of the one in mark and believe it is improperly translated as well. i think the distinctions between 'world' and 'age' are important and worth examining, and i thank you for broaching the subject. i would like to delve into this in a future discourse.
