Do you think Ross Perot called open markets "the giant sucking sound" because he was afraid of losing money in the stock market?
So you finally admit to being a protectionist?

Better look up the definition of protectionist in the dictionary. I am arguing against dumping. Dumping and protectionism are 2 different things. Protectionism is where we don't allow US firms to buy foreign software. Am I arguing that point? NO. I have no problem with SAP or SuSE. I am saying we need to do something about selling goods, in this case labor, in the US BELOW COST. That is dumping, not protectionism. And the WTO has laws against dumping, just not for labor.

Can you understand the concept of someone having an opinion that may be larger than his or her personal circumstance?
Yes. I simply do not believe it is true of you in these matters.

Of course you "don't believe it is true of me". Not surprising, many republicans are irritated when folks that are successful challenge their short sighted beliefs. And that is exactly what allowing dumping is, a very short sighted strategy that benefits a few people at the top of a dominant company in an industry for about 10 years. After that, the industry is destroyed. Fortunately some politicians understand the consequences of dumping in free markets, even if you don't. (and you clearly do not)

Here is an amusing opinion piece
Thank tech companies for helpful off-shoring

They are definitely not -- and this is important -- they are not doing it to find cheap labor and bigger profits. In fact, such thinking is hurtful.

It's like Oracle spokeswoman Jennifer Glass said to Mercury News reporter Aaron Davis recently: Talk that Oracle is expanding aggressively in India simply for cost savings is ``insulting.''
